That’s sad, vallhala is the only game of its genre that managed grab my attention so I was really looking forward to another game like that

Some dumb execs think they can make it into something like GTA online I’m sure
Best part was the DLC patch making the game forget it doesn’t have ultrawide support for 20s, letting me use ultrawide and giving me hope until it finishes loading and adds the black bars again. What the actual fuck fromsoft
To anyone still buying and playing ubisoft games: why do you hate yourself so much? How about donating that money instead, maybe you can find respite in charity, stop putting yourself through this torture
Im not sure you read my comment but at no point did I say Im getting one shot or doing too little damage. The problem is 90% of the game is you dodging attacks so you can get 1 quick attack, maybe 2, dont even think about a charged strong. When I mentioned summons its only because summons give you opening to be able to actually play the game instead of rolling till infinity.
I’m replaying the base game (waiting on a sale for the dlc) and I couldn’t agree more. I was fighting a bell bearing hunter and they have massive combos they can mix up in the middle and do more hits and when you get the timing PERFECTLY you go do 1 charge attack and you get punished because they already started another combo, you get 1 hit and that’s it.
People answering you talk about summons but for these guys you can’t even summon your ashes, for some stupid reason the devs decided to limit that feature.
Before anyone tells me to git gud, I already beat the entire game before including a bugged Melania that healed even on missed attacks (she was bugged for some time). I can beat anything in the game but like you said, it’s mega boring and slow.
Devs like that really make me want to buy the game, I wasn’t too interested because I’m not a fan of the genre but I will now look into it
Well, either people like it or they don’t, it’s 50-50. Clearly Bethesda just needs to keep trying and one day it will stick!
/s (but also kinda not really /s)
It really depends, if the long animation has a big pay off then it’s perfectly fine, high risk high reward, that kind of move greatly rewards player knowledge of the enemy’s move set. It’s not OK if:the move is weak or if enemies have no long dmg windows, if any of those are true then those moves will just be entirely avoided by players
As a huge fan of dragons dogma 1 I have to say DD2 wasn’t worth 70$, maybe 35
That’s what I’m worried about which is ironic since the only game that probably breaks their limit (that I have) is the game they made
I thought Death Stranding was already on pc?
I think focusing on bedrooms for a first game might be the smart move here. Hopefully it sells well and then he can add more diverse battlefields in a sequel
Gotta give it to EA and ubisoft tho, they really help me boycott them. I wish I could say it takes some effort to avoid their games or that I would buy them if they were good companies but damn, I don’t think they released a single interesting game in the past 10 years
“You have been a naughty naughty boat” whip crack
An optimist I see. I would be surprised if this game ever got released
They can say whatever they want but I wonder what a the law of each country would say about that, which is what really decides what you can put in a will or not
AMD has a long history of talking big and not delivering, no need to call me an intel/Nvidia fanboy since my current setup is full amd (R5 5600 + 6700 XT).
Fr. I can’t play Bayonetta cause they want me to dodge with one of the buttons on top (can’t remember if it’s r1 or r2) and holy shit I can’t do it. It’s either A or B otherwise I literally nvr get the timing right even once
