This game was really awesome! I spent so many hours playing online with whoever. It had several awesome arenas.
Now you make me want to play it again!

You’re our hero!
How do you stay in a community, but filter content you don’t want through keywords?
This link has been posted and discussed on Reddit too.
Of course, we shouldn’t care about what people on Reddit think (and I noticed this post by chance since I log on there very rarely now), but some users in the thread genuinely ask about joining Lemmy and so I guess it’s useful to know about possible obstacles to trying it that they may perceive.
This was well written and makes me miss Groklaw once more
I’ve gotten used to just accessing Lemmy through the Eternity app.
How would I look at the graph showing instances and which ones are connected to each other?
Eternity does that too, when you click on the comment button you can change the account from within the comment
Not sure who’ll read this, but I’d love to be able to browse posts I upvoted (as is doable on Reddit).
Hopefully, it’ll be implemented since Lemmy is still in its infancy, like another poster said

Well, there is a crowdfunded documentary (which I even funded years ago) whose name is based on the last episode of the show "What we left behind" and where you can see interviews with the cast and the original writers imagine what an eight season might have looked like.
It's nice and they remastered several scenes of the show in high definition, so it's worth a watch.
Then you can rewatch it over and over again. I'm doing my third rewatch right now. I have only rewatched TNG once and no other series is as amazing as DS9 to me (though I have rewatched several individual episodes across all series)
I know Andrew Robinson has written a novel about Garak, A stitch in time, which I understand is well regarded and Garak is such an interesting character that sooner or later I'll check it out.
We feel your loss, but you should celebrate because it was so well put together and it had a charm no other series really had.
Thanks, I'll check them all out!
So they're all front ends or apps, they're not really alternative hosting services!
I have Android on my phone and MacOS on my laptop (I've been on Linux for several years, but I unfortunately don't have time to work on installing it and making sure everything works. Just life changes)
Apologies for my ignorance, but… What are they?
Are they front ends that strip YouTube of ads or straight different hosting websites, which will certainly incur in high costs to maintain the amount of videos posted to YouTube?
I guess I've also seen someone mention Piped. Is it the same thing as Newpipe (if you know)?
Thanks!
Aaargh, you’re totally right. It goes to show I should have read TFA! Sorry and thanks for the remark!
I always thought the only way to deal with earthquakes was to use gigantic mecha that only have 5 mins of unplugged charge!

Reddit has a lot of international subreddits which don’t really exist here on Lemmy (they have like 10 users and they almost never post).
Reddit has huge lively communities. I’m having a ball here on Lemmy, but I too must check Reddit once a day to know if important stuff happened.
Sure, someone could say I should work on jumpstarting these Lemmy communities, but I’ve only been able to to what I can so far (that is, replying to posts and joining the conversation)

Thanks! I’ve implement your suggestions and am trying them out. It looks nice! I still am not completely sold, but am liking it
I tried Sync yesterday, but didn’t have a lot of time to fiddle with it. What makes it so great everyone’s excited? I checked it out and couldn’t immediately see it having a clear edge over Jerboa and Connect (but it looked nice)
I was further thrown off by the fact that if I wanted to buy it, I’d need to pay for a yearly subscription (and in that case it didn’t look cheap)
Honest question for who can answer
Hey dude, I’ve been looking for you for so long, since my Dad stole your bike and that was a turning point in my life, since I made a point of stealing your son’s bike.
It is said that this will continue for generations until the seventh son of a seventh son, who’ll transform into an upside down toothless vampire who likes garlic.
In order for this prophecy to come true, please ensure all your progeny keeps buying bikes.
PS Welcome to Lemmy!
