Personally I really liked the story it told pretty much throughout. It’s a while since I saw it, but I remember enjoying the more serious tone & challenges. It was nice seeing issues that the characters didn’t just have to punch haha.

The Marvel TV shows have imo been much better than the films for a while now. Moon Knight, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, What If?.. All great.
Those people aren’t the switch’s target demographic at all. The target market love it, I guarantee.
There’s no launcher as far as I know, just a linked account.
Yeah, I was initially invested in the whole meta narrative, but when we wiped out the bots and they just… Came back again lmao, I lost interest somewhat. I’ll still dip in here and there, it’s a fun game, but I would have liked to see the campaign be more emergent and the missions actually reflect what’s happening more.
The article would be a lot less convincing if it didn’t present the clear evidence provided by those games. They are important in this context because there aren’t a lot of games like them coming out today.
This is great! I have never had much time to pour into it, and tbh when season 4 came out I pretty much dropped the game because I felt like I wasn’t going to be able to play enough to make it feel worthwhile. Now I can go back to the start and just pick away at it! Brilliant!
I don’t know how D:OS2 compares to BG3 as I haven’t played the latter, but OS2 is great and it gets steadily worse from there going back in time.
I’m not lying, I’m just recounting information from ProtonDB, if it’s wrong then sorry about that I suppose. I usually find it trustworthy.
Yes, and that is exactly why having a low spec device as a common performance benchmark is useful. It extends the lifespan of low spec devices in general - at least if publishers think it’s worth targeting the playerbase.
Not a hardware issue. It won’t run because EA don’t allow their anti cheat to run on Linux.
So your plan is just to read headlines and make assumptions? I’m sure that will give you a much clearer insight into things.
I haven’t particularly felt mine is underpowered tbh. Obviously it’s a handheld so it doesn’t play the AAA graphics card melters on ultra haha. But yes, introducing a new one would affect everyone who doesn’t upgrade… Plus of course the benchmark being low benefits PC players with weaker hardware, too. Budget players, in other words, who perhaps can’t afford a £500+ upgraded deck. Seems a bit cold to just throw these folks under the bus.
Having it as a benchmark is good, it encourages developers to aim to get good performance on a relatively underpowered device. I worry that an upgrade would muddy the waters… And drive games away from aiming for “verified” on the steam deck 1.
The headline is misleading. The actually statistic given in the article is “between 1 and 3.7%”
Do you really have to jump to “women are skanks”? Some people are just so excited to throw out a slur when they think they can get away with it, eh?
Must be one of those new Microsoft AI laptops.
Lmao this is like that Nathan For You episode where customers had to hike up a mountain to send their rebate 😂
Holy shit that’s amazing
I really love this new trend of articles summarising Reddit/forum discussions so I don’t have to read them myself, so convenient /s
I wasn’t really considering the flag smashers, honestly, they didn’t leave much of an impact. I was thinking more about Sam & Bucky’s separate personal struggles - Sam with becoming a black Captain America, and Bucky with making amends. To me the real interesting conflict was not the one with the flag smashers - that just forms a standard comic-book backdrop to the more interesting look at America itself.
