I would give it a bit longer, but in fairness I liked it from the start so it might just not be for you.
I like that it’s properly an ensemble show and it does a much better job of living in the established universe than disco does in my opinion.

That’s not something that are considering I hope.
This and SNW are their only good shows. You can easily tell from watching Lower Decks that the show runners love and get Star Trek. Hopefully they have been given enough time to wrap up the series the way they want.
This seems likely given that in the timeline where Pike was still in command in 2266 having avoided good accident M’Benga was still CMO. I would imagine that having give through all that shit he wanted to step back a bit and let someone else run the department.
One of my favorite encounters when I ran 5e was using a roper on the ceiling while the party fought a couple ghouls. The bard and wizard were very surprised 👹
I like that SNW at least is genuinely trying to live in and explore it’s era, it always felt like disco was just using that setting carelessly.
Picard felt very pandering, I couldn’t get past the first season.
Lost Decks is the best one though, you can tell there’s a genuine affection for the setting and it’s quirks.
