I think a good sense of criticism is always good. And I don’t like loyalty, ever. But, no matter where you go, there will be a rule of thumb that people will blindly follow. None of this will make me likable though because of the lack of trust I show them with everything.

Well many live service games are just that, but actually don’t feel like a scam. Warframe for instance, still considers itself in beta if you ask the devs. Their reasoning is that when the game releases, the development stops, in the old fashion game development point of view.
Steam reviews should be a good place to read about it. Despite what people may say about steam reviews (jokes and brigading), it’s still a good source of info.
It wouldn’t be too hard to go through every archived game and determine if it’s still available through corporate means or not. Those are the ones that are threatened to be erased forever if corpos get their way. The biggest problem is the money and means to fight against corporate goons and lawyers.
