I think Sharon is in on The Road. She keeps moving the plot forward and not allowing them to overthink things. Sure she is “dead” now but I don’t believe it.

I start a playthrough of the Quest for Glory series at least once a year - always with the ill-fated goal of playing through the entire series in order with one character. This is because you can actually save your character and import it into the next game and the correct way to play a paladin requires playing the first two games just right. I’ve never played the final game because it came out much later than the first four…

That was the max number of players who could play together for something like 3 update cycles, and that was years ago. Everyone was still technically in the same shared universe, you just couldn’t actually co-op with more than that… but, again, that’s outdated. Not sure what the limit is now, if there even is one - it’s a more seamless and behind-the-scenes load-balancing deal now.
