Something to look forward, then. I saw Voyager each week when it aired, but not since. I started renting them from the library last month and we’re going into Season 3 soon.

I don’t originally remember having strong feelings about any of characters, but Neelix has really been grating on me. He values Kes, but doesn’t act like he respects her as an autonomous person*. Maybe I won’t care so much once that interaction is no longer possible, but in this particular episode he was a bastard to Tuvok. You can’t force anyone to have fun, and especially not a Vulcan! 🤬

*It was the 90s, I know, and I’m going to have an even rougher time once 7-of-9 shows up… Thanks, Berman

Honestly 7 of 9 turned into a surprisingly interesting character. It’s just too bad Dick Berman made her wear that skin-tight costume.

“Eventually” is the key word. I was referring to her introduction into the series. I don’t mind her later, once she has character.

Maybe I’ll really like her; we haven’t gotten that far yet.

I liked him more after Mortal Coil, the one with the almost transporter incident.

I realised he’s a far more complex character than I initially suspected. That he acts the way he does, because of his past, and is changing.
