minus-squarenocturne@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·18 days agoShe is a rather famous D&D NPC, not only does she have spells named after her, she also has a supplemental book named after her. Tasha’s Hideous Laughter Tasha’s Caustic Brew Tasha’s Bubbling Cauldron Tasha’s Mind Whip Tasha’s Otherworldly Guise
minus-squaredevdoggy@piefed.socialOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·18 days agoWhat the fuck!?!? I had no idea!!! Do you know anything more about the other D&D minifigs that they made? Do they have a backstory??
minus-squarenocturne@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkarrow-up3arrow-down1·edit-218 days ago There is also Strahd von Zarovich from Curse of Strahd. The Lady of Pain was a Diety in 3e. the enigmatic ruler of the city of Sigil. The nature of her being was not clear, but whatever she was, she was not human. Szass Tam is a lich, and the leader of the Red Wizards of Thay.
minus-squareAngryCommieKender@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·18 days agoLady of Pain isn’t really a deity. She’ll kill you if you try to worship her, also she existed in 2.5 as well as 3.5 If you got higher than 20th level, she bans you from entering Sigil
minus-squarenocturne@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·18 days agoUpdated. I played none of 2.5, 3, or 3.5. I was only going on info I found regarding her.
minus-squaredevdoggy@piefed.socialOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·18 days agoThose are amazing!! Thank you!! So, did Lego craft these in partnership with D&D? Do you know? Sorry, I’m kinda blown away by this…
minus-squarenocturne@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·edit-218 days agoYes they did. They were released in tandem with the Red Dragon’s Tale Tavern Set 21348. Hopefully we get more of these. I made a LEGO Dark Elf Druid for my character in Icewind Dale.
minus-squaredevdoggy@piefed.socialOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·18 days agoI remember the big set but I’m more curious as to the minifigs. Also, your character doesn’t show up for me. I love all this new information!! Please, pile on more!! Do you have any info on this guy?
minus-squarenocturne@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·18 days ago Also, your character doesn’t show up for me. I fixed the link, I uploaded an Apple heic image file, guessing that does not display on other OS. Do you have any info on this guy? 71048-2 Wolfpack Beastmaster is from Minifigure Series 27, which was the set immediately after the D&D set. This figure is from LEGO’s own lore. The Wolfpack is a subtheme of their Castle theme, and has been around since the 90s.
minus-squaredevdoggy@piefed.socialOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·18 days agoHell yeah! I love your pic!! Yeah, I guess I kinda knew that, I was hoping he had a backstory. Do you know of other D&D backstories for the rest of the D&D series?
