Does Proton route emails the same way as Gmail?

Curious if proton routes emails like gmail? What I mean by that is on gmail you can create myemail+test@gmail.com and it will route to myemail@gmail.com

So my question is, does proton do the same?

I did some searching, but I don’t see mention of them implementing it. They do give you aliases and passmail email addresses though.
