I’m absolutely glad that I watched this film. It’s so lovely to see Sally Fields. And Chief Miles O’Brien to boot! (Erm, I mean Colm Meaney.)
The story was exactly what my heart needed, especially in these days where everything seems to be soul crushing. Sure, there was some mild suspension of disbelief, but it was worth it, however improbable.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, between the short lifespan and the fact that they don’t have language to pass anything down to their young, they’re very constrained on development. The world would be a different place if they lived as long as we do.
I loved the Children of Time series - one of my favorites, and I read a stupid amount of SF and fantasy.
