Here’s a really fun one! HIM is was a gothic metal band that I barely just discovered a couple months ago.
It’s a good overall mix of metal with some pop elements, so it’s not really the hardcore dream. Still, HIM makes a bad day good and a good day better.

They disbanded in 2017. The first track on that same album, “Join me in Death” is one of their most renowned songs, given it’s the fifteenth-best-selling song of all time in Finland.
Actually Razorblade Romance is just banger after banger.I really like their cover of Wicked Game.
I think it’s well made, and it captures the feeling of the original while not copying it exactly.
Actually my favourite version of this song.
Girls simped so hard for the band’s vocalist twenty years ago, it straight up felt like I got competition there.
Annoyingly, I discovered some time later that the band might’ve kinda shadowed the USian post-rock/dub band HiM, produced by my favorite musician and producer Bill Laswell. Although I don’t really think their audience overlapped much.
