I am not sure where this originally came from. According to TinEye it is at least 2016 from this random image sharing website with only a direct link to the photo but I have not seen any older results. This pic has made the rounds on the i n t e r n e t for quite awhile though!

Relevant Content Only: This should be obvious, but please avoid posts that are unrelated to vaporwave. We really don’t want to remove posts unless it’s something like spam.
Have Fun! Federated sites have much more freedom for users. You should be able to post without worrying about it being removed immediately over thousands of arbitrary rules. We want users to feel at home! Memes about vaporwave are allowed.

We are still new like most people that are migrating from Reddit. There’s going to be some growing pains along the way and it’s also going to take time for everyone to get used to things. Be patient!
