I thought so too. A musical corner I know too little about, but I’m interested now!
When I was younger, I would try to impress my dad with crazy metal and he would always be unimpressed like, “Oh yeah. This sounds like [some band I’ve never heard of]. I saw them back in '67.”
Ha! Frustrating! But sounds like a dad with good taste :)
