Several survivors of abuse perpetrated by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein are expected to speak out for the first time in early September.
Democratic Representative Ro Khanna of California and Republican Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky said in a media advisory this week that the survivors would join them at a news conference on September 3.
The news conference is scheduled to take place at the House Triangle in Washington, D.C., at 10:30 a.m. ET on September 3, when lawmakers return from their monthlong recess.
Meanwhile, the House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed the DOJ for records from the Epstein case. Those documents must be turned over by August 19.
I truly hope they have bodyguards. DC police were taken over by one of Epstein’s clients and is running the country.
