I’m torn by this. On one hand she’s despicable, on the other hand such a well delivered, completely unexpected “your mom” really gets me.

I have all my services spun up in docker containers, which makes it easier to pick and choose which services use Tailscale and which use a VPN. I guess I haven’t yet been put in a position where I wanted one to use both.

Tailscale’s free offering goes a long way.

Settings -> Blocks tab -> Search for the instance in the “Blocked Instances” section

EDIT: Sorry, I misread and thought you meant a whole instance. But communities can be blocked in the same place, just a different section.

I retired mine from full-time service earlier this last year. It is still kept for emergencies.

I do worry that that their service sprawl is going to detract from overall quality of said services. Email, Calendar, Drive, and VPN would have been a perfectly fine ecosystem. Now they’re doing AI shit too, I guess?
