Opera is now owned by a Chinese company, it is just a webkit/blink shell and, I have zero trust in them.

Don’t talk about the high concept of federation, talk about the community that the different services offer.
The classic misstake is to oversell and miss the point that the other party is focusing on.
Don’t: “Lemmy is so awesome, it can’t be shut down, it is federated, you can even run your own instance and have total control”
What the other party hears: “Lemmy is awesome, and you have to do a lot of stuff to join.”
Do: “Hey, have you heard about Lemmy? It is a Reddit clone with a much calmer community, I have had a lot of interesting conversations over there”
This puts the focus on the community rather than the service, people join social networks for the interaction, not the tech.
Thanks for alerting me to this new community, I have blocked it.
Beamer?
You want to connect your BMW to Netflix?
An iPad and a roll of duct tape should do it…
Yes you can, you many not be allowed to, but you absolutely can.
Ah, I am sorry for being rude, thank you for being blunt with the truth and giving me a reality check.
Are you not able to get a better computer?
2GB ram and a C2D?
I think we have found the problem…
A raspberry pi has better specs than that.
If it has worked fine untill now, there was probably a new update that finally pushed it over the edge.
Get that computer to an antique dealer or let it rest in peace.
Even a used first get Ryzen would be faster.
I am sorry, but that is the reality of computing.

Both Firefox and Edge was a bit choppy when zooming in, but nothing bad when panning…
I just tried it on my home computer with the following specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5600X
RAM: 32GB DDR 4
GPU: nVidia GeForce RTX 3070
OS: Windows 10
C: Drive: 1TB NVMe Samsung 980
Internet speed: 250/250mbit
Screen resolution 2560x1440
It workes fine in Firefox, even while playing a yt video in anonther tab in Firefox, in Edge the performance was the same as in Firefox even without a YT video playing
Eh all the workers has to do to significantly delay production if not outright make the facility unusable to the Chinese is to flood them with sea/lake water.
What?
I have run both Google Earth and Google Maps in Firefox on Windows since forever and it has allways been fine.
This is not a Firefox issue.
I sure hope so!
I’d much rather keep my 3070 and have Taiwan remain free than get a new card made in occupied territories under terrible conditions.
So you are not using Firefox?
If you actually are using Firefox, you need to provide more information.
What kind of computer are you running?
What operating system and version are you running?
What version of Firefox are you running?
When did the behavior start?
What have you tried to resolve it?
I am an IT technician, I am no speciallst on Firefox or even web browsers, but I will give you a free tip, try a reinstall of Firefox, and if you are on a different browser based on Firefox, get the real version of Firefox, then you can compare the two.
Yeah, that is my take as well, at first I thought it was completely useless just like the old Facebook posts with users posting a legaliese sounding text on their profile trying to reclaim rights that they signed away when joining facebook, but here it is possible that they are running their own instance so there is no unified EULA, which gives the license thing a bit more credibillity.
But as you say, bots will just ignore the links, and no single person would stand a chance against big AI with their legal teams, and even if they won the AI would still have been trained on their data, and they would get a pittance at most.
Looking at their comment history they seem to allways include that link to the CC license page in some attempt to prevent the comments from being used with AI.
I have no idea of if that is actually a thing or just a fad, but that was the link.
If you get a bad time on level 3, you have plenty of chanses to recover on the next 9 levels.
Or, perhaps if you have a fantastic times on levels 3, 7 and 9 that earned time can be used to compensate on level 12, making the time possibly still good enough.
Watching the crazy speedruns of Half Life is mezmorizing.
This classic video of a segmented run is just stunning:
This is the current world record of an unsegmwnted run: https://youtu.be/nsr5qgpfaWI?
Yes it will, it is cheaper and atill availablw for purchace.
They may not have as much time to enjoy it as longer players, but they have time.
