4·10 days agoIf you’re into self hosting at all check out caliber-web, which uses a calibre-compatible db/backend but a web-based fronted. I switched about 3 years ago after importing my old calibre db and never looked back (household is doing around 90 books/year)

41·23 days agoIf you’re being fediverse-specific you could set up your own instance, federate with everything, and have it save only the content you’ve interacted with. It’s a pretty narrow archive so it wouldn’t be too resource intensive. And if you’re techy it wouldn’t be too hard* to write a native activitypub client that did only this if you were active on eg lemmy and mastodon and pixelfed
- for certain definitions of “too hard”

How can you tell here? I’m looking at it and I think I could do something very similar in Inkscape in a half hour or maybe an hour (I’m a little rusty). But it looks like normal vector art to me?
