Handbrake only converts an existing Blu-ray rip to a video format, it doesn’t rip DVDs and Blu-rays on its’ own.
You can install MakeMKV to rip your discs, then convert them to video files in HandBrake.

That is correct.
…The Rock has come back to Flatpak!
- The Website League, an island network that’s taking a very different approach
“Website League”? I like the sound of that. Like some sort of super team…
It’s amazing how much time you can kill when you’re constantly at doctors appointments all week.
Doctors appointments? Not for any negative reasons, I hope?
YOU’RE awesome!
I see what you did there. Very suave!
You’ve certainly done an outstanding job in the comments department. Not bad for someone who’s only been here for 6 months!
At first it was pretty close, with the comments always being slightly ahead, but I decided I wanted them to coincide.
And this is my 1,000th Lemmy comment!
That might have been for Kraven the Hunter, but I’m also certain that they wanted an R for this.
I’d love it if Emulators added a license clause forbidding Nintendo and Nintendo affiliates from using it then took them to court.

One of the basic properites of Free Software is freedom 0: the freedom to run the program as you wish, for any purpose. Even for purposes that you don’t like or disagree with.
The thing about open source is, you can’t grant those rights selectively. It’s gotta be for all or none.
This is hilarious, I’d like to see more of this.
I can see it now: Mario comes under fire after users dig up some koopaphobic tweets from 10 years ago.
You monster.
Think of all the shareholders that won’t be getting a slightly bigger return on their investment because you didn’t buy two consoles!
Although Deadpool & Wolverine was released in IMAX, it was actually never shot for IMAX in mind.
The entire film was shot in the 2.39:1 widescreen aspect ratio (IMAX movies usually extend the aspect ratio to the taller 1.90:1), so there were never any actual IMAX scenes to begin with.
x-mas
I see what you did there.
That would have been quite the crossover.
