Yeah, I’m making it now, but don’t plan to start using it til mid September or early October. I know from other fermentation experiences that time is essential to a good product.
I’m mostly just surprised how quickly I got such intense reaction, I’m used to waiting days or weeks for ferments to really start going, so it’s pretty exciting to see something occur as quickly as this has.


I hadn’t considered bad bacteria creating preferential Ph changes, that’s super interesting.

Well, it does require some preliminary IT knowledge, but as far as IT skills go I’d say it’s one of the more basic systems.


It runs on the system you install it in, all containers do is isolate the software to a controlled environment so it doesn’t directly use your system packages.
The advantage in terms of migration is that you can just have a directory with a compose file and your configuration directories and that can be moved to any system
If memory serves TechHut did a pretty good docker introduction video a few years ago.
